• Known for their striking grain patterns, Swamp Ash is a very resonant and bright sounding tonewood that is resonant across all frequencies with a lightly scooped midrange enabling the highs to be slightly more pronounced. Lightweight and more open top end, the dynamic range of Swamp Ash is superb offering a percussive quickness when picked hard and balanced sweetness when fingerpicked with a light touch.
• The combination of Fluence Single Width pickups and Fluence Open Core Classic Humbucker opens up a vast array of tonal possibilities. The Flunece Single Width Pickups feature a clear, present, and authentic single coil tones that are free from hum and noise. The Fluence Open Core Classic Humbucker is a 3-in-1 versatile powerhouse, with Voice 1 being vintage PAF sounding, Voice 2 for classic hot-rodded humbucker tones, and Voice 3 for genuine overwound single coil sound.
• The hardware also has a significant influence on the acoustic characteristics of the guitar. Cort® CFA-III Tremolo System with metal injection molding manufacturing technique with stainless steel used on the saddle, bridge plate and the block for a big, solid, bold and articulate sound as well as enhanced sustain. The recessed tremolo bridge allows for pull-ups to raise the pitch as well as pushing down for lowering the pitch, providing further tremolo versatility.
• Both comfort and appearance were enhanced with an elegantly contoured arm cut on the top. This modification to the body has been carefully laid out on the bodies of the X guitars for maximum comfort without removing unnecessary amounts of wood.
